Amazon AWS infra VP says AI business is 'hugely free cash flow negative', expects negative FCF for years

Amazon Web Services infrastructure VP Prasad Kalyanaraman said internally that Amazon's AI business is 'hugely free cash flow negative' and that overall free cash flow should stay negative for the next couple of years. Business Insider reports internal August emails projected about $5 billion of Nvidia GB300 racks in August and roughly $3 billion monthly, with some data centers lacking power to run the equipment.
