Amnesty says Haftar's LAAF resumed executions in eastern Libya on 23 August, first since 2010

Amnesty International said the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, led by eastern commander Khalifa Haftar and the de facto authorities in the region, resumed executions on 23 August -- the first in Libya since 2010. At least 30 men have been executed after secretive military trials, with at least 50 others said to be at imminent risk.
