Assobibe says sugar tax threat in Italy's budget halts over €1bn of investment

Italian soft-drinks industry association Assobibe says the prospect of a sugar tax in the upcoming budget law (Manovra) is blocking more than €1 billion of investment. The association is pressing against the levy as the government prepares the budget.
