Bangkok declares all 50 districts disaster areas; governor says water levels stabilised

Bangkok declared all 50 districts disaster-affected areas from 25 September 2026 to speed up flood response, after a Cell Broadcast alert warned canal levels were rising. Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said on 26 September the situation had stabilised, with pumps at full capacity and drainage of remaining water expected to take 2-3 days.
