Bangkok declares all 50 districts disaster areas as flood warning issued and 24 roads closed

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration declared all 50 districts disaster-affected areas from 25 September 2026 to speed up flood response, after the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation sent a Cell Broadcast alert warning canal levels were rising and urging residents along canals and in low-lying areas to move belongings to higher ground. The city also warned motorists to avoid 24 routes as of 09:50 on 26 September.
