Bank of Canada's Macklem: US tariffs could cut Q4 annualized growth to 0.75%

Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem said US tariffs could roughly halve fourth-quarter growth, with the Bank's annualized forecast cut to 0.75%. Macklem also warned that waiting too long to raise rates would force faster, larger increases.
