Bitcoin posts first weekly close above 50-week moving average since March 2023, Galaxy Research data shows

Bitcoin has closed a week above its 50-week moving average for the first time in 45 weeks, according to Galaxy Research, whose president Alex Thorn says the signal has historically confirmed bear-market bottoms. The close follows the break of a long-term downtrend noted by analyst dbdegn.
