Blockchain Association urges SEC and CFTC to create joint rulebook for equity perpetual futures

The Blockchain Association submitted a formal comment letter to the SEC and CFTC urging the two regulators to create a clear joint rulebook and coordinate better, citing their March 2026 harmonization MOU, so that equity perpetual futures can trade in the US. The group proposed using the existing Security Futures framework and technology-neutral rules to bring offshore derivatives onshore.
