Brazil equity ETF jumps after Flávio Bolsonaro leads first round of Brazil's presidential election

The US-listed Brazil equity ETF ($EWZ) jumped more than 14%, its best day since March 2020, and Brazil's Ibovespa rose 9% to a record high after Flávio Bolsonaro led the first round of Brazil's presidential election 47%-45% over President Lula da Silva. Bolsonaro is running on a pro-market platform of tighter spending, privatizations and lower taxes.
