China Coast Guard water cannons Philippine vessel during medical evacuation at Ayungin Shoal

The Philippine Coast Guard completed an emergency medical evacuation of a Philippine Navy personnel aboard BRP Sierra Madre off Ayungin Shoal, saying a China Coast Guard vessel shadowed and water cannoned its vessel. The Philippines says the evacuation, expected to take a few hours, took 10 because Chinese counterparts used water cannons.
