Bitget raises confirmed loss from security incident to $387.5M, withdrawal plan due Sept. 26

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the security incident is contained and no further unauthorized transfers are possible; the confirmed loss is now $387.5M, up from the earlier $351.6M figure, with only a hot wallet compromised and no cold wallets affected. Bitget will announce its withdrawal resumption plan by Sept. 26 and has launched a 5% Recovery Bounty Program.
