EIA raises 2026 US oil output forecast to 13.87 mln bpd, lifts WTI and Brent price outlooks

The EIA's latest Short-Term Energy Outlook sees 2026 US oil output of 13.87 mln bpd (vs prior 13.83 mln) and 2027 output of 14.3 mln bpd. It raised its 2026 WTI price average forecast to $88.21/bbl from $84.65 and its 2026 Brent average to $96.32/bbl from $91.01 (2027 Brent $83.74 vs $73.74), while trimming 2026 world oil demand to 102.4 mln bpd from 102.6 mln.
