Erdoğan says capital-markets problem limited to a few funds, no risk to financial system; jets, yacht of detained fund figures seized

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the problem in a limited segment of the capital markets, in a certain number of funds, poses no risk to Turkey's financial system or economy, and that the judiciary has launched a wide-ranging investigation with detentions and arrests. Two private jets belonging to detained Emre Tezmen and Muhammed Yarız and a Benetti Oasis 34M yacht have been seized, with the assets valued at about 1.8 billion lira.
