Erdoğan says fund-sector problem no risk to financial system; arrests in probe rise to 51, jets and yacht seized

Erdoğan said the problem in a limited segment of the capital markets poses no risk to Turkey's financial system. In the borsa manipulation probe, four more suspects were detained, raising the number arrested to 51; two jets and a yacht worth about 1.8 billion lira were seized and suspects' assets confiscated, with those of first-degree relatives frozen. Thirteen detainees were released under judicial control.
