ESMA gives crypto firms 3 months to exit non-compliant stablecoins

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) issued guidance on Thursday urging EU national regulators to require crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) to fully exit exposure to stablecoins that do not comply with MiCA within three months, by January 8, 2027.
