Ethereum staking exit queue swells to ~786,000 ETH, driven by MetaMask pulling Lido validators

Ethereum's staking exit queue stood at about 786,000 ETH (over $2bn) Monday with a near-14-day wait, after MetaMask withdrew validators it operated for Lido as a precaution. MetaMask said no customer wallets or funds were affected. Roughly 1.5 million ETH worth about $4bn is queued to enter staking, a ~25-day wait.
