EU and China agree to halve Chinese hybrid vehicle exports, ease rare earth licensing

The EU and China have agreed to halve Chinese hybrid vehicle exports to the bloc, improve EU access to China's market and ease licensing for Chinese rare earth exports, CNBC and Cointelegraph report. EU trade chief Maros Sefcovic had said an agreement of understanding on hybrids could cut shipments by half, with the two sides also reaching agreement on rare earths and magnets.
