EU has transferred €8bn to Ukraine from proceeds of frozen Russian assets, Russian Foreign Ministry says

The EU has handed Ukraine €8 billion drawn from income on frozen Russian assets, according to Russia's Foreign Ministry, which gave the figure. The transfers use windfall profits on Russian central bank reserves immobilised in the EU.
