EU rejects any diesel ban as 'absolutely unacceptable', ambassadors to meet on diesel market

An EU spokesperson said the bloc "fully rejects any ban on diesel" and called the US ultimatum "absolutely unacceptable", after Washington demanded a release of 120 million barrels of diesel over 180 days and warned of a US export ban if refused.
