EU says it fully rejects any diesel ban, ready for collective IEA-coordinated stock release

An EU spokesperson said the bloc "fully rejects any ban on diesel" and is ready for collective action on a possible stock release under IEA coordination, after Politico reported five EU states agreed to oppose the US demand to release 120 million barrels of diesel over 180 days, with Washington warning of a US export ban if refused.
