Florida AG seeks injunction forcing Meta to cap teen app use at 2 hours, ban under-14s

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier (R) asked a state court for a temporary injunction forcing Meta to reduce addictive features, including capping teens at two hours a day on its apps, banning under-14s from Instagram and Facebook, and disabling autoplay, endless scrolling, ads and messaging for older teens once they hit their daily limit.
