FreightCar America cuts 2026 outlook, sees Q3 revenue of $75M-$77M

FreightCar America sees Q3 revenue of $75M-$77M, down from $160.5M a year earlier, with adjusted EBITDA of $(0.3M)-$0.3M versus $17M YoY. It cut its 2026 revenue outlook to $370M-$410M from $410M-$460M, adjusted EBITDA to $15M-$19M from $36M-$44M, and deliveries to 3,100-3,300 railcars from 3,500-3,900. The company says the customer behind a removed order is unlikely to meet its obligations under the associated contract.
