Google, Constellation sign 20-year deal for 890 MW of new nuclear capacity

Google and Constellation Energy have signed a 20-year power purchase agreement to add 890 MW of new nuclear capacity to the PJM grid through uprates at 11 existing reactors, representing more than $4.3 billion in investment, with the first uprate expected in 2028. Amazon signed its own 20-year deal adding 190 MW, bringing the two contracts to 1,080 MW of new power.
