Arévalo names Jonathan Menkos as president of Guatemala's central bank and monetary board

Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo has designated Jonathan Menkos as president of the Banco de Guatemala and the Monetary Board, Prensa Libre reported, filling the central bank's top post. The appointments of the central bank and banking regulator (SIB) authorities had been expected this week.
