Hana Bank issues $100m 5-year digital bond on Euroclear's D-FMI blockchain platform, Yonhap reports

Hana Bank said on 21 September it issued a $100m five-year foreign-currency digital bond using Euroclear's D-FMI blockchain platform, according to Yonhap. It is South Korea's first digital bond issued directly on Euroclear's blockchain infrastructure, with issuance, registration and settlement handled on a distributed ledger, cutting settlement time from 3-5 days.
