ICE agents in construction vests shoot and injure illegal alien in the Bronx; child in vehicle, FBI assisting

An ICE agent shot and injured an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic in Marble Hill, the Bronx, on October 8; the man was in a vehicle with a 5-year-old child, believed unharmed. DHS said he had a grand larceny conviction and prior arrests for assault, robbery, drug possession and weapons, and alleged gang ties, blaming NYC's sanctuary policies for allowing him to remain. He was hit in the neck and hospitalized in stable condition.
