IMF board approves $1.9bn 36-month programme for Bolivia, first disbursement $214m

The IMF board approved Bolivia's access to about US$1.9 billion (SDR 1.369 billion, 570% of quota) under a 36-month Extended Fund Facility, with a first disbursement of US$214 million. Bolivia's government said the economic programme the country will follow "has been established".
