Investment firm linked to Mudavadi, Timamy to pay Absa Sh3bn for First Assurance and Absa Life stakes

An investment firm linked to Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi and Lamu Governor Issa Timamy will pay Absa Sh3 billion for its 63% stakes in First Assurance Kenya and Absa Life Assurance Kenya. The deal would return control to local investors who sold the stake in 2015.
