Iran executes mountaineer Ali-Sina Mostafavi convicted of armed attacks during war, Mizan reports

Iranian authorities executed Ali-Sina Mostafavi, a 38-year-old mountaineer from Kerman, after convicting him of carrying out armed attacks in Kerman during the war with the United States and Israel, the judiciary's Mizan News reported Wednesday. Human rights group Dadban had warned a day earlier that his execution could be imminent after he was transferred to solitary confinement.
