CENTCOM commander says Hormuz oil and LNG shipments hit six-month high as US forces facilitated transit of over 1bn barrels of crude

CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper said US forces have facilitated the transit of more than 1 billion barrels of crude oil out of the Strait of Hormuz in "the last couple of months," and that oil and LNG shipments through the strait reached their highest level in six months over the past two weeks. The main shipping lanes remain clear of mines.
