Iranian court sentences Mohsen Babaian to death on moharebeh charge, HRANA reports

A court has sentenced Mohsen Babaian, detained during Iran's January protests, to death on a charge of moharebeh, or 'waging war against God,' the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported. HRANA said Judge Iman Afshari, head of Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, issued the sentence.
