Kospi jumps 2.66% to top 6,900 intraday as foreign and institutional investors buy together

Korea's Kospi rose 2.66%, breaking above the 6,900 level intraday, as foreign and institutional investors bought together. Foreign investors turned net buyers for the first time in eight sessions. SK Hynix jumped 6.4% and Samsung Electronics gained about 2% on a positive tone in US semiconductor stocks.
