Lagarde says ECB rates are at upper end of neutral range, still sees upside inflation risks

ECB President Christine Lagarde said rates are at the upper end of the neutral range and that the ECB is not driving policy with reference to the neutral rate. She also said she expects inflation in 2027 and 2028 to exceed estimates made a few months ago, and still sees upside risks to inflation and downside risks to growth.
