Lebanon asks Iran to appoint new ambassador to Beirut, deputy PM says

Lebanon has asked Iran to appoint a new ambassador to Beirut and is working to resolve the diplomatic issue, Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri told Al Jazeera. Mitri said work was underway to resolve the matter.
