Tampered Ledger hardware wallets with hidden spy implants have expanded across Europe, with compromised devices found at two MediaMarkt branches and a Saturn store in Germany containing identical modifications, including additional wiring and an LTE module. MediaMarkt confirmed the device was not a returned item; inventory traces to distributor Aqipa GmbH, which supplies over 1,000 retail stores across 11 countries.
