MEV bot "Yoink" front-runs $7.8M rsETH exploit on Ethereum whale's Safe wallet, capturing the funds

A hacker attacked an Ethereum whale's Gnosis Safe wallet using a custom Uniswap V4 hook to unwrap aETHrsETH into freely transferable rsETH, attempting to take about $7.8 million. The MEV bot "Yoink" spotted the transaction in the mempool and front-ran it in the same block, capturing the full proceeds, so the hacker got nothing and the funds now sit with Yoink. Kelp DAO had temporarily paused rsETH transfers for the receiving address while the incident was investigated.
