Micron's COO says its custom HBM4 and HBM4E memory will command higher average selling prices and deliver stronger margins. HBM4 uses a 1β core die with an in-house base die, while HBM4E uses a 1γ core die with an external foundry base die expected from TSMC, and NVHBM, designed with NVIDIA, uses the same external base die.
