Nomic nBTC bridge exploited in double-spend attack, freezing 22.65 BTC on Osmosis
An attacker exploited Nomic's nBTC bridge via a double-spend, creating fraudulent nBTC that impacted Alloyed BTC on Osmosis. 39.84 nBTC (about 36% of Alloyed BTC backing) was affected and 22.65 BTC worth nearly $1.8 million was frozen in the attacker's address, with Osmosis and IBC confirmed not compromised.
