North Korea fires two ballistic missiles toward Sea of Japan from Wonsan area, Yonhap reports

North Korea fired two ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan (East Sea) on September 20, 2026, both launched from the Wonsan area within roughly three hours, according to Yonhap. The first traveled about 450 km and the second more than 600 km, amid rising tensions after recent US-led military drills.
