Novo says real-world data show Ozempic 2 mg linked to 6% lower risk of major heart events than switching to Mounjaro

Novo Nordisk announced retrospective real-world evidence showing semaglutide injection 2 mg was associated with a statistically significant 6% lower risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in adults with type 2 diabetes than those who switched to tirzepatide up to 15 mg. The data were presented at EASD.
