Oil slides as Saudi supply concerns ease; ConocoPhillips among weakest energy names
Brent crude fell 3.3% to settle near $105.12 a barrel and WTI dropped 3.9% to about $101.72 on Wednesday, according to Reuters, as Saudi supply concerns eased and U.S. crude stockpiles showed a smaller-than-expected drawdown. ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) shares slid with other oil and gas producers, ranking among the session's weakest performers.
