An Oracle data-centre project is facing local opposition over water use and air quality, with the gas pipeline needed for power supply also encountering obstacles, making completion timing, power arrangements and final cost harder to pin down. Reuters, citing the Financial Times, says banks have cut quotes on loans for the project to about 89-91 cents per dollar of face value.
