Paramount settles state AG antitrust suit, clearing final hurdle for $110bn Warner Bros. Discovery deal

Paramount Skydance settled the antitrust lawsuit brought by a dozen state attorneys general led by California's Rob Bonta, removing the last obstacle to its $110 billion Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition. The consent decree requires at least $300 million more a year in US film production spending than in 2025, plus a $1.5 billion California production investment.
