Paramount settles state AG and Writers Guild suits over $110bn Warner Bros. Discovery deal

Paramount Skydance settled lawsuits brought by 12 state attorneys general and the Writers Guild trade union over its $110 billion Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition, clearing the way to close. The consent decree requires at least $300 million more a year in US film production spending than in 2025, plus a $1.5 billion California production investment.
