Regeneron, Sanofi amend license agreement to jointly develop four new antibodies, with $1B upfront payment

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi amended their license and collaboration agreement (sixth amendment) to jointly develop and commercialize four new Regeneron-invented antibodies. Sanofi will pay Regeneron $1 billion upfront. Regeneron anticipates a pre-tax acquired in-process R&D charge of approximately $22 million.
