Samsung to make NVHBM base die on TSMC's 3nm at Nvidia's request, Reuters reports

Reuters reports Samsung Electronics will manufacture the NVHBM base die using TSMC's 3nm process at Nvidia's request, and that Nvidia has asked Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron to use the same TSMC flow. Nvidia says NVHBM delivers up to 30% more bandwidth. Samsung has not ruled out using its own foundry and is also validating in-house production.
