Scammers posing as Intesa Sanpaolo CEO tricked Fideuram's ex-chairman into moving €95m, report says

A report says scammers impersonated Intesa Sanpaolo CEO Carlo Messina in a WhatsApp message to Fideuram's then-chairman Paolo Molesini, and about €95 million was transferred out of the Italian private bank without hacking or stolen keys. The claim has not been confirmed by the banks.
