Sei Labs unveils Hermes consensus protocol for trading-focused Sei Giga blockchain

Sei Labs unveiled Hermes, a consensus protocol CEO Jayendra Jog called the fastest ever published, as the core of its trading-focused Sei Giga blockchain. The firm said architecture tests showed high throughput and fast finality on EVM, with 68 milliseconds of latency measured on the distributed test network.
