SpaceX agrees to acquire Grain Management's nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio

Grain Management said it has a definitive agreement to sell 100% of its nationwide 800 MHz low-band spectrum portfolio to SpaceX, subject to FCC approval. The portfolio comprises up to 14 MHz of paired spectrum. SpaceX says the acquisition lets Starlink sell mobile service on spectrum it owns, positioning it as a US mobile carrier. Terms were not disclosed.
