Syndax says MAXPIRe Phase 2 trial of axatilimab in IPF did not meet primary endpoint in FVC decline

Syndax Pharmaceuticals says its MAXPIRe Phase 2 trial of axatilimab in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis did not meet the primary endpoint of annualized rate of FVC decline. The drug was well tolerated with a safety profile comparable to placebo, with no new safety signals observed. Axatilimab continues to advance in multiple cGVHD trials.
